Château de Challanges

“This was a return to the Chateau we stayed in 2017 for my wife and I for our honeymoon. It was as lovely as I remembered. New owners with the loss of the stellar winelist and Caveau from before. But the quaint countryside feel is still there. The beds were comfortable. The only complaint was the presence of some spiders that I had personally had no problems with (but the wife did. So I had to get rid of them.) Breakfast buffet was hearty. The pastries and the scrambled eggs were delicious. Great stay but its location outside of Beaune means a car is necessary. Would return again.”

“When in burgundy I would definitely stay here. 4 min drive from beaune and just a bit over an hour to Dijon so nice and beautiful, super good service too.”

“A lovely hotel just off the motorway so easy to get to but no road noise. The welcome was so warm and friendly (loved the cat sitting on the chair!) Our room in the attic was simple but clean and comfortable and with character. Bed was very too. There was free electricity charging for our car which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.”

“Little hotel with only a couple of rooms off the highway, quiet, in the middle of a patch of forest. Lovely place, old house with a special charm. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The staff and service was excellent and very helpful. Highly recommend a bike tour through the vineyards. And Mimmi the cat lounging in the lobby made it all the more enjoyable. They have a good thing going.”
